Hover does not collect, store, sell, or share personal data. There are no accounts, analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, external servers, or crash-reporting services.

Local Safari extension behavior
Hover runs in Safari only on YouTube pages you allow. It reads the active video player state and changes playback speed after you choose a speed. This work happens locally in your browser.

Website permissions
Safari may describe the extension permission as permission to read and alter websites. Hover needs that permission for YouTube playback controls. You do not need to allow Hover on every website.

Purchases
Mac App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Hover does not receive your payment details.
